Deciding Final Table for Challenge Cup
11.1.9 Total number of points, then if still equal,
11.1.10 Total number of games won, then if still equal,
11.1.11 Goal difference (i.e. goals for minus goals against) then if still equal,
11.1.12 Total goals for, then if still equal,
11.1.13 Fewest losses, then if still equal,
11.1.14 Using away games: - points won, games won in regulation time, in that order of priority, then if still equal,
11.1.15 In the unlikely event of teams still being equal, teams will be ranked by the drawing of lots. Any prize monies determined by the position in a league or group by this means will be shared equally by the tying teams.
Deciding Final League Table Positions
11.1 The following order of priority will determine the relevant position of teams in any EIHL Competition league or group:-
11.1.1 Total number of points, then if still equal,
11.1.2 Total number of games won in regulation time, then if still equal,
11.1.3 Total number of games won in regulation and overtime, then if still equal,
11.1.4 The results of games played between the relevant teams by applying points won, games won in regulation time, games won in regulation time and overtime, in that order of priority, then if still equal,
11.1.5 Fewest losses, then if still equal,
11.1.6 Using away games:- points won, games won in regulation time, games won in regulation time and overtime, in that order of priority, then if still equal,
11.1.7 In the unlikely event of teams still being equal, teams will be ranked by the drawing of lots. Any prize monies determined by the position in a league or group by this means will be shared equally by the tying teams.
11.1.8 Where a group of 2 or more teams is tied, then whenever a team can be eliminated due to the above order of priority, it shall be, by applying each of the above stages in order of such priority.
